A JAZZ WORLD PHOTO 10 ÉVE

„A jazz egy életre szóló szenvedély.” És szeretem hallgatni a fényképezőgépem lencséjén keresztül…” – mondja a Jazz World Photo alapítója, Patrick Marek.

Az idén 10 éves JAZZ WORLD PHOTO a jazzfotósok világversenye, amely 2013-ban kezdődött, Patrick Marek fotós és barátai – Tomáš Katschner promóter és Ivan Prokop fotós – szervezésében. Célja a jazz és a jazzfotózás népszerűsítése.

A pályázat különlegessége, hogy minden fotós évente csak egyetlen egy képpel pályázhat.

A Hunyadi téri szabadtéri kiállításon az elmúlt 10 év legjobb fotóiból összeállított kollekciót tekinthetik meg az érdeklődők a Jazzfest Budapest zárásáig, május 15-ig.

A kiállítás a Cseh Centrum, a Budapesti Tavaszi Fesztivál és az Eötvös10 támogatásával valósul meg.

10 YEARS OF JAZZ WORLD PHOTO

“Jazz is a lifelong passion.” And I love listening to it through the lens of my camera…” says Jazz World Photo founder Patrick Marek.

JAZZ WORLD PHOTO, which turns 10 this year, is a world competition for jazz photographers that started in 2013, organised by photographer Patrick Marek and his friends – promoter Tomáš Katschner and photographer Ivan Prokop. It aims to promote jazz and jazz photography.

A special feature of the competition is that each photographer can only submit one image per year.

A collection of the best photos from the last 10 years will be on display in the open-air exhibition on Hunyadi Square until the closing of Jazzfest Budapest on 15 May.
