Are you a photographer based in South America creating standout series? The Latin American Professional Award is for you!

Set up to celebrate dynamic and inspiring photographic work currently created in Latin America, the World Photography Organisation and Sony Latin America created the Latin America Professional Award.

The prize is open to all photographers from Latin American countries entering bodies of work (five to ten images) to the Professional competition, including Architecture & Design; Creative; Documentary Projects; Environment; Landscape; Portfolio; Portraiture; Sport; Still Life plus Wildlife & Nature. The prize has uncovered some of the most talented photographers from the region and put their work on a local as well as global stage. Photographers receive Sony digital imaging equipment and exposure through a local regional exhibition within Latin America.

With thousands of people across the planet viewing the successful projects, the hope is for these photographers to benefit from publishing deals, gallery representation and international coverage.
